A Healthy Mindset is Helping People
What a great night it turned out to be. When we began our adventures networking as all businesses should, we met with a local small business group called E.P.I.C. Our second meeting they asked for volunteers and while I was in the process of explaining what we do to the other small business owners, Team MT thought it would be great to sign all of us up to help out with the Clark County Food Drive.
Once we got there I have to admit, I was a little concerned to not see any other people from the group but as the Drill Sergeant, sorry I meant as the head food can lady was giving us our assigned tasks for the shifts we saw the rest of the EPIC volunteers across the room. Our Head of Public Relations was elected the Table Master for our shift and maybe I am biased here but we packed up boxes faster than anyone else around. Albeit we were in this with a lot of great families and youth camps, in all seriousness we were just happy to be out there helping our community. The holidays are in full swing and the New Year approaches. Help out your fellow neighbors and give back to your community. It is one of the most gratifying experiences we have all had in a while.
